Product DescriptionInhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Im Geografieunterricht lernten wir vom groen Fluss Mrs.Sipi. Auf meiner Suche im Internet stach mir sofort das oben genannte Zitat ins Auge. Diese Aussage stammt von Kindern unterschiedlichen Alters. Zum Einen veranlasst es durchaus zum Schmunzeln, zum Anderen fhlte ich mich in meiner Idee zu vorliegender Diplomarbeit besttigt. Kinder zwischen sechs und zehn Jahren sind fantasievoll und wissbegierig, flexibel und lernbereit. Warum sollte man sich diese Eigenschaften also nicht zu Nutze machen und ein Produkt entwickeln, welches diesen Kinderansprchen gerecht wird? Die Gesellschaft befindet sich im Wandel, die Technologien verndern sich beinahe stndlich und der Fortschritt nimmt zu. Viele Familien haben inzwischen einen Computer auch zu Hause und nutzen ihn, z.B. fr Lernprogramme, zur Textverarbeitung oder fr Computerspiele. Deshalb ist es heute nicht mehr verwunderlich, dass bereits Kinder im Grundschulalter in der Lage sind, mit einem PC, insbesondere mit dem Internet umzugehen. Diese beiden Punkte, der immer weiter fortschreitende Einfluss des Internets, die angeborene Neugierde und der natrliche Wissensdurst der Kinder brachte mich auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten Thema zu dem Produkt Manolitos Welt. Ein Portal, welches den Kindern ermglicht, auf spielerische Art und Weise zu lernen und dabei alles Wissenswerte ber fremde Lnder zu erfahren. Manolito, die Giraffe nimmt den kleinen Besucher an der Hand und fhrt ihn durch seine Welt, die aus wichtigen Informationen, lustigen Spielen, spannenden Geschichten und vor allem besonderen, auf die Bedrfnisse der Kinder zugeschnittenen Reiseangeboten besteht. Generell soll Manolito seine kleinen Gste mit ausreichenden und vor allem kindgerechten Informationen versorgen, sich Zeit fr ihre Anliegen nehmen und auf spielerische Weise Wissen ber ferne Lnder, deren Sitten und Traditionen vermitteln damit aus der Mrs. Sipi wieder der Mississippi wird!
