It is without a doubt that "Destination Truth" was one of the most popular reality programs on the Syfy Channel, formerly known as SciFi. With many firsts in paranormal and cryptozoologic history, funny quotes, and truly being the jumping off point for TV show personality Joshua Gates' career, there was a lot to love. So why did the show end despite five successful seasons after two years of no episodes and radio silence? "The Fan Guide to Destination Truth" is written by Amanda Rosenblatt, who has been running an exclusive "DT" and Joshua Gates themed fan site with corresponding social media channels, filmed and podcast interviews, since 2008. The book contains curated interviews, both from the past and exclusive recent interviews you will not get any where other than this book. There is also an exclusive Foreword written by Joshua Gates, as well as episode summations and a Fan Q&A Chapter where popular fan questions are answered. You will get some great snapshots into what the life of a "DT" crew member was like, with interviews specifically from Erin Ryder, Gabe Copeland, Rex Williams, Evan B. Stone, Ramy Romany, and many more show favorites! Holding a Bachelor degree in Communication with a major in Print Journalism from Suffolk University, Amanda Rosenblatt was assisted in writing parts of the book by Brad Acevedo, who has an Associate of Arts with a specialty in Film Studies from Grossmont Community College.
