Cambridge Music Programme is based upon a strong selection of different styles of musical recordings, including Classical, Popular, Folk, Jazz and music from other cultures. Linked with these are planned, sequential activities to help children learn the basics of improvising, composing, arranging, performing, moving, and listening critically. These activities promote the development of musical skills and concepts in an exciting and enjoyable way. Differentiation ensures that all children can make progress and a crosscurricular approach makes individual chapters suitable for teaching through topics. Teachers who use this course will not need to read music, play an instrument or have any special skills beyond a willingness to listen and an enthusiasm for music. Fanfare Teacher's Book covers material in both pupil's books and contains the pupil's text to make it easy to follow.
