Welch und der Festhaltetherapie nach Jirina Prekop. Einschrnkend zu der Betrachtung dieser Therapieformen und des mglichen Klientels werde ich mich auf Kinder mit Autismus beziehen, weil gerade sie nach den Verfechterinnen unter einer Kontaktstrung leiden und eher eine Bindung zu Gegenstnden und unbelebten Dingen statt zu Menschen und vor allem ihren Eltern herstellen. Es ist mir wichtig, herauszukristallisieren, wie die Therapieform begrndet wird, welche Mglichkeiten sie fr Kinder mit Autismus und ihre Familien erschliet und wie Kritiker zu dieser Methode stehen und ob sie eine wirkliche Alternativmethode zu den vielen weiteren Therapieformen darstellt. Im Vorfeld werde ich Autismus und die drei hufigsten Formen kurz vorstellen. Auf den frhkindlichen Autismus gehe ich nher ein, da sich auch die Vertreter der Festhaltetherapien vorwiegend auf diese Form des Autismus beziehen. Ein wichtiges Element wird weiterhin die Bindungsfhigkeit autistischer Kinder zu ihren Eltern sein, denn diese ist ein wichtiger Aspekt dieser Arbeit. Nachdem die Festhaltetherapien nach Welch und Prekop vorgestellt wurden, werde ich zur Gegenberstellung kurz auf die Argumentation der Kritiker dieser Methode eingehen, um aufzuzeigen, wie gegenstzlich die Stellungnahmen sind und welche Debatten noch bis heute ausgefochten werden. Zum Schluss wird sich ein Fazit entwickeln, dass einen Mittelweg versuchen wird und Mglichkeiten aufzeigt, wie die Therapieform vielleicht im Sinne der Kritiker und der Vertreter anwendbar werden knnte.
