FiftyFifty Intro: A Speaking and Listening Course is for students at the elementary level who may have some passive knowledge of grammar and vocabulary from previous study, but lack the skills and confidence to participate in conversation. The text consists of a warmup unit, twelve main units, and three review units. Each unit consists of the following sections: Warmup Exercises, Listening Task, Speaking Task One, Speaking Task Two, Language Game, Homework, and Language Focus. An Appendix contains the Student B pages of the pair work and group work activities. At the back of the book, there are Selfstudy Exercises with an Answer Key for outofclass review and an Audio Script for the Listening Tasks.
