Ein Groteil der nicht brsennotierten Unternehmen sind mittelstndische Unternehmen. Daher konzentriert sich diese Praxislaborarbeit speziell auf mittelstndische deutsche Unternehmen. Dabei soll in der Untersuchung insbesondere der Einfluss auf das Rating des untersuchten Unternehmens dargestellt werden, sowie hieraus resultierende nderungen der Finanzierungskosten fr Folgeinvestitionen aufgezeigt werden. Je nach Art und Weise wie das Unternehmen die Finanzierung durchfhren wird, ergeben sich unterschiedliche Einflsse auf das Unternehmensrating. Im Sinne der Unternehmensplanung und Kostenreduktion sollte das Unternehmen die Finanzierungsalternative whlen, welche mgliche Folgeinvestitionen am wenigsten durch hohe Finanzierungskosten belastet. Darber hinaus soll auch auf die Bilanzierung nach dem HGB und auf eventuelle Besonderheiten beim Erstellen der Steuerbilanz eingegangen werden. In Folge eines erschwerten Kreditzugangs durch die Einfhrung von Basel II zum 01.01.2007 werden Alternativen zum klassischen Bankkredit an Bedeutung zunehmen. Die vorliegende Praxislaborarbeit verfolgt das Ziel, die wichtigsten Instrumente alternativer Finanzierungsformen vorzustellen und deren Eignung fr mittelstndische Unternehmen zu errtern. Dabei soll auch eine Gegenberstellung spezifischer Vor und Nachteile der einzelnen Instrumente erfolgen. Fr ein Unternehmensrating unter Basel II ist insbesondere die Frage von Bedeutung, wie mit den spter vorgestellten Finanzierungsoptionen positive Wirkungen in der Bilanzstruktur erzielt werden knnen, die zur Strkung der Eigenkapitalbasis des zuknftigen Kreditzugangs beitrage
