Historical novel, late 19th Century America, focus on the life of Andrew Still and the establishment of osteopathic medicine. Well researched, little known facts of Stills life and struggle are embedded in reflective romance, Civil War drama, and organizational intrigue.

I found 'Fire on the Prairie' to be an interesting read, but I wish it had gone into more detail about some of the medical practices Still developed. The historical context was good, but I left wanting more specifics.

Not What I Expected
I was excited to read this book, but honestly, I found it a bit dry at times. The narrative didn’t hold my interest as I hoped it would. I expected more engaging storytelling about Still's contributions.

Delivery Issues Detracted from Experience
The book itself is informative and engaging, but it took a lot longer to arrive than I expected. I had to wait over a week, which was frustrating. Still, the content is very compelling for those interested in medicine.

A Deep Dive into Osteopathy
This book about Andrew Taylor Still is incredible! The author does a fantastic job detailing his life and founding of osteopathic medicine. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommend it for anyone interested in medical history.
