This book is such a fun read! The satire in ‘First Contact’ really captures the absurdity of presidential politics with some clever alien encounters thrown in. If you’re a fan of Douglas Adams or Vonnegut, you won’t be disappointed. I grabbed it in used condition, and honestly, it felt just like new!

Funny but a Bit Disjointed
I liked the humor and the satire, but sometimes the plot felt a bit all over the place. It’s definitely witty, and there were parts that made me laugh out loud. Just not sure how well it all came together in the end. Good book, though, especially for fans of sci-fi humor!

Came in Bad Shape
I was excited to read this book since I love satire, but I was disappointed with the condition it arrived in. The cover was a bit torn, and the pages were dog-eared. I wish I had paid more for a better copy. The content itself was funny, but the used condition could’ve been better.
