For readers of Emma Cline and Melissa Broder, the story of an untethered, sardonic young woman falling for an older radio host and then for his daughter.Aspiring writer and allaround naive person Allison expected her life to finally take shape when she moved to Los Angeles. After years grieving her brothers untimely death and allowing her mercurial fathers feelings and desires to infect her own, she feels ready to become the main character in her own story again. But in LA, as with anywhere else, shes rudderless, unable to write and barely scraping by as an English teacher. So when she has a serendipitous run in with famed radio personality Reid Steinman, an idol of her fathers and her late brothers, shes eager to see where their relationship might go, and who she might become. Caught in his thrall, she falls back into her old selfeffacing patterns, struggling to maintain the boundaries of her own identity. Suddenly, an unanticipated lifeline emerges: an intoxicating tryst with Reids adult daughter, Maddie. Shes forced to balance her romance with Reid with her gnawing desire for the intoxicatingly charming Maddie, as it becomes increasingly evident that she and Allisons late brother share more than a few qualities.Through candid selfawareness, keen observations, and deliciously wry humor, First Time, Long Time asks, what happens to a young womans goals when she becomes involved with a famous man whose needs seem so much louder than her own? And how might she move forward when so much in her past remains unresolved?

I purchased the First-Time Long-Time for my son’s birthday, and he’s been loving it. The build feels solid and it’s user-friendly, making it perfect for kids. Would buy again!

Great for New Users!
I bought the First-Time Long-Time model for my sister who's just getting into photography. The color options are nice and the user interface is super friendly. She loves it and has already taken some amazing shots!

Not what I expected
I had high hopes for the First-Time Long-Time model based on the description, but it didn’t perform as well as advertised. The colors were off in my photos, and some settings were confusing to figure out. Disappointed overall.

Decent but needs improvements
I found the First-Time Long-Time to be pretty good for beginners, but the battery life isn’t great. It lasts about an hour before needing a charge. Still, it works well for indoor shots!

Perfect for casual use
The First-Time Long-Time camera is exactly what I needed for my family gatherings. It takes decent pictures, and the color accuracy is pretty good for its price. Great value!
