Grammar is a sixyear, incremental program that encourages students to apply new grammar knowledge in every lesson while continuing to practice what they already know. Level 1 Nose Tree presumes no prior grammar knowledge and introduces basic parts of speech, endmark punctuation, phrases, clauses, homophones, and more.

I got the Fix It Grammar Level 1 for my 8-year-old, and it's been a fantastic introduction to grammar. The nose tree concept is fun and engaging for him. He actually enjoys the lessons now!

Disappointing quality for the price
I was really looking forward to using this student book, but it arrived with a few pages crumpled. Also, the content didn’t meet our expectations for a grammar book at this level. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Decent resource, but not perfect
This student book has some useful exercises, but I found some of the explanations a bit unclear at times. My daughter likes it overall, but we occasionally have to look up concepts. Still, it gets the job done!

Fun but a bit basic
The Fix It Grammar Level 1 was a nice addition to our homeschooling materials, but I expected a little more in-depth content. It’s colorful and well-illustrated, which my son enjoys, but I think we’ll need to supplement it more.
