Student learning is in major crisis within the American public school system. After years of effort invested in the education reform movement and an unbelievable amount of money, student performance remains unacceptable. In 1983, the report A Nation at Risk sounded the clarion call, outlining specific goals for education reform, which havent yet been met. The challenge remains the same: fix schools; do not just improve student learning. This book provides the action plan and management system that is required in order to achieve that goal. After reading this book, administrators, school board members, and principals will have a blueprint that will enable students to achieve the learning standards that have been established by the state departments of education and the local school districts.

I like the practical advice in 'First Blueprint for Achieving Learning Standards', but honestly, a couple of the sections I read felt a bit rushed. Could use more detail in places. Overall, it’s a handy guide for new teachers, just don’t expect everything to be super in-depth.

Good ideas, but not exhaustive
This book has some solid frameworks for meeting learning standards, but I found it lacking in depth for a few subjects. It's useful for a starting point, but I wish there were more examples to follow. Still, a decent read for educators looking to refine their approach.

Not what I expected at all!
I was disappointed with this book. I thought it would provide more actionable insights, but it just didn't meet my needs. Some chapters seemed poorly organized, and it didn't seem as thorough as I'd hoped. Save your money unless you're really curious.

Great resource for teachers!
The 'First Blueprint for Achieving Learning Standards' by Fix Schools is a must-have for any educator. The strategies outlined in the book are practical and easy to implement in the classroom. I really appreciated the clear layout and design — it makes it a breeze to find what I need quickly!
