In contrast to her first three books, which were essentially diaries of her travels through the Americas, Flor Garduno: Inner Light is a diary of her personal, interior landscape. The images still lifes, nudes, and portraits of her daughter Azul were taken in and around her homes in Mexico and Switzerland. Using the quiet elegance of natural light, she has created a stunning series of photographs that, reproduced here in tritone, bring a magical lyricism to blackandwhite photography.
