I was excited to get this guide, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The locations provided were mostly common and not very helpful for advanced fossil hunting. Also, a few pages were creased when it arrived. Wish I could return it!

Great resource for fossil hunting!
I bought this guide to help my kids learn about fossils while we explore local sites. The descriptions are clear, and the illustrations make identification super easy. We’ve already found a few cool fossils using tips from the book!

Helpful but a bit basic
This fossil guide has some useful info, but I was hoping for more detailed locations. It’s good for beginners, and the layout is nice, but I found myself wanting deeper insights on rarer finds. Still, it’s a decent starting point!
