Quality Bilingual Resource
I purchased this for my niece, and it has become one of her favorites! The mix of English and Mandarin is well done, and the characters are nicely illustrated. Helps with language learning without feeling too much like a textbook.

Good for Beginners, A Bit Basic
This book has nice illustrations and is great for starting out with Mandarin. However, I found some parts a bit too simple for my taste. Still, it’s a decent resource for newcomers to the language.
