I recently picked up the 'A Third Catalog of Building Plans' by Forty Wooden Boats and it's fantastic! The plans are detailed and easy to follow. I can't wait to start my first model, the color illustrations really help!

Not what I expected
To be honest, I was hoping for more detailed plans. The illustrations are nice, but a few of the designs seemed rushed. I guess I’ll still make use of it, but it didn't meet my expectations completely. Just okay for me.

I really love the variety of boat designs in this catalog! The wooden models look stunning as they come together. Just fair warning, some plans are definitely for more experienced builders. It’s a challenge, but a fun one!

The building plans in this catalog are pretty good, but I had a few moments where the instructions weren't as clear as they could be. Some parts took a bit longer to figure out. Still, it's a solid start for any model enthusiast!
