Frank Lloyd Wrights buildings on the West Coast have not been thoroughly covered in print until now. Between 1909 and 1959, Wright designed a total of 38 structures up and down the West Coast, from Seattle to Southern California. These include wellknown structures such as the Marin County Civic Center and Hollyhock House in Los Angeles, and many lesserknown gems such as the 1909 Stewart House near Santa Barbara. With more than 200 photographs by veteran architectural photographer Joel Puliatti and 50 archival images (many of which have never been seen in print before), this comprehensive survey of Wrights West Coast legacy features background information on the clients relationships with Wright, including insights gleaned from correspondence with the original owners and interviews with many of the current owners.

I enjoyed flipping through 'Frank Lloyd Wright on the West Coast,' but I expected more detailed analysis on each project. It's a nice collection, but I felt it lacked depth in some areas. Still worth a read if you are a fan, though!

A must-have for architects!
As an architecture student, I found 'Frank Lloyd Wright on the West Coast' to be incredibly inspiring. It showcases his work beautifully and provides valuable context about his legacy in California. I appreciate the detail and effort that went into this book!

Beautiful book with rich insights
I bought 'Frank Lloyd Wright on the West Coast' as a gift for my husband who loves architecture. The photography is stunning, and the text really dives deep into Wright's influence. It's a coffee table book for sure, but also an informative read that sparks great conversations!

Great for design lovers
This book is a treasure for anyone interested in Frank Lloyd Wright. The layout and images are impressive, and it does a great job of capturing the essence of his work on the West Coast. My only complaint is that I wish it had a bit more focus on the specific buildings.

Stunning visuals, but delivery issues
While the book itself is fantastic with gorgeous photos of Wright's architecture, I had a tough time with the delivery. It took longer than expected to arrive, and the packaging was a bit dented. Luckily, the book was unharmed!
