Product Description In den Jahren um den Ersten Weltkrieg zerbrachen die Sinnzusammenhnge der abendlndischen Neuzeit. Zugleich trat erstmals die Grundproblematik einer nicht mehr regional beschrnkten, sondern menschheitlichen Kultur hervor. Dieses epochengeschichtliche Ereignis bildete den Erfahrungshintergrund fr Franz Kafka und die Expressionisten. Er konnte so lange nicht klar erkannt werden, als die literaturwissenschaftliche Methodik den Voraussetzungen der Neuzeit verhaftet blieb. Durch eine Anwendung der Komponentenanalyse wird nun eine Rekonstruktion der damaligen epochalen Sinnzusammenhnge mglich. Sie enthalten Grundzge, die auch in den Einzelwerken Kafkas und seiner Zeitgenossen nachweisbar sind. So kann deren Sinn auf eine von den subjektiven Vorstellungen des Interpreten unabhngige Weise gedeutet werden. In der Dichtung unserer Gegenwart ist eine Wiederkehr wichtiger Motive von damals zu beobachten. Ihre Kenntnis kann auch zu einem besseren Verstndnis der heutigen geistigen Situation verhelfen.
