Product Description Das ffentliche Frauenbild in den fnfziger Jahren ist geprgt von konservativpatriarchalischen Strukturen. Die Untersuchung betrachtet Frauenbilder in deutschen und sterreichischen Romanen des Jahrzehnts unter sozialgeschichtlichen Aspekten. Auf der Suche nach abweichenden Weiblichkeitsmustern unter den literarischen Frauenbildern zeigen sich ber weite Strecken bereinstimmungen mit dem ffentlichen Frauenbild. Allerdings sind in einigen Romanen Anstze eines berschreitens der traditionellen Muster zu erkennen. Neben heute zum Teil vergessenen Autorinnen und Autoren wie Ingeborg Drewitz, Hans Habe und Ruth Rehmann werden Romane von Heinrich Bll, Wolfgang Koeppen und Marlen Haushofer bercksichtigt. About the Author Die Autorin: Ellen Gramann, Jahrgang 1959, studierte in Mainz Germanistik und Romanistik fr das Lehramt an Realschulen. Erste Staatsprfung 1982. Zweite Staatsprfung 1984. Ab 1992 Studium der Germanistik und der Pdagogik. Promotion 2003 an der Universitt Mainz.
