About the Author Gerd Egelhof, geboren 1970 in Schorndorf (RemsMurrKreis), lebt und arbeitet in Waiblingen bei Stuttgart. 1999 wurde der Autor, Buchhndler und Sporttrainer bei einem stipendienartigen LyrikWorkshop in AuetalRolfshagen (Weserbergland) entdeckt. 2000 gewann er beim BadenWrttembergischen Landeslyrikwettbewerb den Kreispreis RemsMurr. Egelhof schreibt Gedichte, Kurzprosa und Sachbcher. "Festtage des Lebens" ist sein vierter Lyrikband.
