I was really disappointed with this book. The information seemed scattered and I felt like it didn’t cover the topic thoroughly. Plus, some of the maps were hard to read. I wouldn’t recommend it for serious historians.

Interesting but Lacked Depth
I enjoyed reading about the frigates, but I was hoping for more technical details about their construction and design. It was well-written, just not as in-depth as I expected. Still, it was a decent read for an overview of the era.
