I picked up this book, 'From Giotto to Cézanne,' as an introduction to painting history for my art class. It’s concise but covers so much ground! The illustrations are beautiful and really help bring the text to life. Perfect for anyone looking to get a grasp on art movements without getting overwhelmed.

Disappointed with the Quality
Ordered this art history book, and while the content seems interesting, the binding was loose when it arrived. I expected better quality for the price. I wanted to give it as a gift, but I’ll have to think twice now. Hopefully, I can exchange it without hassle.

Informative but Lacks Depth
While 'From Giotto to Cézanne' offers a solid overview of painting history, I found it a bit too brief in some areas. It introduces key artists well, but I wanted more detail on certain movements. Still, it’s a nice coffee table book and sparks interest for deeper study later.
