This book does a fantastic job of connecting historical movements to present-day activism. I bought it for my college social activism course, and it sparked a lot of great discussions. Highly recommend for students or anyone interested in social change!

Came Damaged but Content is Valuable
The book arrived with a bent cover, which was disappointing. However, the content is so rich that I decided to keep it. Just be careful with shipping, I guess. Very insightful read otherwise, and I appreciate the collective history it covers.

A Must-Read for Social History Buffs
If you're into labor history and the socialist movement, this book is a treasure. The way it ties together events from the Free Speech Movement to today's factory struggles is so insightful. The writing is engaging, and it really makes you think about how far we’ve come and the work still to be done.

Loved the Historical Context
As a history major, I absolutely loved the depth of context provided here. The narrative from the Free Speech Movement to the factory floor is compelling and well-researched. I’d recommend this to anyone interested in understanding the roots of our current labor issues.

Great Insights, but Lacks Flow
There are many great insights in this history, but I found the flow a bit choppy. Some transitions between topics felt abrupt. Still, I appreciate the effort to connect various movements together. It’s worth picking up if you're interested in social movements.
