The story starts in the first 10 years of the Hoktickan era. the Hoktickan's, are a race of octopus beings. This civilization includes; Astrologers, who are the spiritual spokesmen for their people. Craftsmen; Who craft beautiful statuettes, using a crystal that is found in deep water. There are also martial artists, who are trained by a man named Robuston. The craftsmen like to trade with a tribe called the Naertide, who come from across their waters. These people love the crafted statuettes, so the Hoktickan's most prized possessions are traded without thought. As the locals are unhappy with the situation, a senate is formed. However, the members of the senate begin to take control of everybody's lives. The only thing that the senate has bred is corruption! The only hope for the Hoktickan's now, is a young martial artist named Vilus and a divine astrologer named Liughvux. These men start a rebellion with intent to usurp the senate.About the AuthorBarry Lumsden was born in 1979 in the small town of Kirkcaldy, Scotland. He has studied many forms of martial arts including; Wado ryu, Praying mantis, Muay thai and is also a former part time Wrestler. He also takes a keen interest in military history.
