Not what I expected, poor quality prints
I was really looking forward to this archive, but I was disappointed by the quality of the prints. Some images came out blurry, and the colors weren’t as vibrant as I hoped. Might just use it for casual browsing.

Great reference book but a few repeats
This book has a lot of cool Japanese motifs, but I did notice some designs were repeated throughout the pages. It’s still a good resource for anyone interested in Japanese art. Just wish the variety was a bit broader!

Beautiful designs, a joy to explore!
I love the variety of illustrations in this Dover pictorial archive! The Japanese designs and motifs are not only beautiful but also incredibly detailed. I’ve been using it for my art projects, and it’s been a fantastic source of inspiration.
