I got this for my biomechanics class, and it serves its purpose well. The explanations of pathological gait are particularly beneficial for students. However, I did find the hardcover a bit bulky to carry around. It’s a solid textbook, but some chapters could use more detail.

Not what I expected—missing key updates
I was really hoping for a modern take on gait analysis, but this book is quite behind in terms of current research. Some chapters felt rushed, and there are better resources out there. It didn't meet my expectations, unfortunately.

Useful but some sections feel outdated
The book has a lot of good information for understanding gait analysis, but I found some sections a bit dated. It’s thorough, though, and I've learned a lot about different walking patterns. Just wish it had more recent case studies.
