This book is a must-read for anyone wanting to grasp the realities of residential schools in Canada. The author's personal reflections add so much depth. I finished it in a few days because I just couldn’t put it down. It’s beautifully written and deeply impactful.

Thought-Provoking but Heavy
'A Life After Residential School' certainly makes you think. It covers tough topics that can be hard to digest, but it's really well written. However, I found some parts a bit slow, which is why I give it a 3-star rating. Worthwhile but not an easy read!

Not What I Expected
I was really excited to read this book, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The topic is crucial, but I felt the narrative could have been more engaging. A few sections dragged on, making it hard to stay focused. I give it a 2 because I appreciate the importance of the subject matter.

A Powerful Read on Resilience
I picked this book up after hearing about the author’s story, and wow, it’s an emotional journey. The insights from the residential school experience are both heartbreaking and enlightening. This isn't just a narrative; it offers a deeper understanding of survival and hope.
