I enjoyed 'Gentlemen and Players' for the most part, but the pacing felt a bit slow in the middle. The first and last parts were engaging, but I wished it had picked up the pace. Still, the writing was solid and the story intriguing enough to keep me going.

Disappointing Experience
I had really high hopes for this novel, but unfortunately, I found it quite dull. The plot didn't grab my attention, and I struggled to finish. Maybe I just wasn't the right audience for this one. Wouldn't recommend it if you like fast-paced stories.
