Groundwater resources are gaining much attention, particularly in arid and semiarid regions. So, the current study aimed to evaluate the potentiality and development of groundwater resources on ElBahariya Oasis, considering its economic importance intended for the iron mines, oil discoveries, archeological sites and suitable areas for land reclamation in addition to the groundwater. The study utilized borehole geophysics, hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry tools, based on the digitized well logs (selfpotential, resistivity and gammaray) from 12 boreholes, pumping tests, field surveys and measurements, chemical analyses from 125 wells, as well as other required geological information published in the investigated area. This study should shed some light on this huge groundwater aquifer in ElBahariya Oasis, and should be especially useful for professionals in different branches of Geology such as geophysicists, structural geologist, hydrologists, or anyone else who may be interested in this geology.
