I was looking for something more practical and hands-on. While this book covers important topics, I found it to be more theoretical than I wanted. Also, it arrived with a bent cover, which was disappointing. Might be beneficial for some, but it didn't suit my needs.

Great Resource for Social Workers
As a social worker, I found this book to be incredibly insightful. It discusses anti-oppressive practices and how to apply them with older adults and their families. The case studies really help to illustrate the concepts, making it easy to understand and implement. A must-have for anyone in the field!

Informative but Dense at Times
This book has a ton of valuable information on social work with older adults. However, I felt that some sections were a bit dense and hard to get through. It’s definitely useful, but be prepared for some heavy reading. Overall, still a helpful resource!
