Product Description Geschenksituationen stellen eine jener Situation dar, an die wir uns bis in frhste Kindheit meist positiv zurck erinnern. Sie knnen als ein bedeutendes Sozialisationserlebnis eines jeden Individuums der westlichen Gesellschaft verstanden werden. Wie wir uns ins in Geschenksituationen zu verhalten haben, erlernen wir aber zunchst nach den Regeln unserer Kultur. In unserer westlichen Kultur packen wir ein Geschenk gleich nach Erhalt aus und zeigen eine positive emotionale Reaktion in Form von Freude und berraschung, als Zeichen der Dankbarkeit gegenber dem Schenkenden. Diese Reaktionen sollten wir auch dann zeigen, wenn uns das Geschenk nicht gefllt, um unsere Dankbarkeit dem Schenkenden gegenber deutlich zu machen. Diese sogenannte Darbietungsregel unterscheidet sich von Kultur zu Kultur und muss zunchst erlernt werden. Nach heutigen Forschungsergebnissen ist davon auszugehen, dass Emotionen zwar phylogenetischer Natur sind, die Art und Weise wie wir diese Emotionen zeigen, aber im Laufe unserer Entwicklung erlernt wird. So kann angenommen werden, dass auch die Art der emotionalen Reaktion auf ein Geschenk im Laufe unserer Entwicklung erlernt wird. Wie erlernen wir aber solche emotionalen Reaktionen und welche Rolle spielen dabei die Bezugspersonen? Whrend man beispielsweise bei dreijhrigen bereits feststellen kann, dass sie eine Vorstellung von einer Geschenksituation entwickelt haben, fehlt es jngeren Kindern meist noch an Erfahrung. In dieser Arbeit wurde daraus folgend untersucht, wie Kinder im Alter von 22 Monaten das Ausdrcken von Geschenkfreude erlernen. 26 MutterKindPaare wurden dabei videographiert, wenn das Kind als Abschluss einer Lngsschnittsstudie ein Geschenk erhlt. Es wurde beobachtet, wie Kinder Emotionen in Abhngigkeit von mtterlichen Emotionsausdruck und Verhalten aufzeigen. Diese Studie bietet einen Einblick in ein Forschungsthema, dem bisher nur wenig Beachtung geschenkt wurde, die Sozialisation von Geschenkfreude. About the Author Dr. Michael Gler ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl fr Entwicklungspsychologie und Entwicklungspsychopathologie der Universitt Bielefeld. Er forscht und lehrt zur Entwicklungspsychologie und Pdagogik der Kindheit. Zu seinen Forschungsschwerpunkten zhlen unter anderem die sozialemotionale Entwicklung im Vorschulalter sowie die Entstehung und Entwicklung von Bindungsbeziehungen im pdagogischen Kontext.
