Product Description Fernsehnachrichten bilden die Wirklichkeit nicht einfach unverndert ab, sondern sie deuten die Ereignisse in ihren Beitrgen: Bestimmte Aspekte eines Themas werden in den Vordergrund gerckt, andere vernachlssigt, bestimmte Akteure werden ausgewhlt, die zeitliche Reihenfolge der Geschehnisse wird nach bestimmten Mustern umgestellt etc. Damit rcken Nachrichtenbeitrge in die Nhe von fiktionalen Erzhlungen und man kann sie deshalb mit den Mitteln der Erzhltechnik untersuchen. In diesem Buch werden Beitrge aus unterschiedlichen Schweizer Fernsehnachrichtensendungen von 1957 bis 1999 zum Thema Schweizer Auslnderpolitik einer linguistischen Narrationsanalyse unterzogen. Die Ergebnisse dieser Analyse zeigen detailliert, wie in den TagesschauBeitrgen Bedeutung und somit Wirklichkeit konstruiert wird und wie sich diese Muster im Laufe der Zeit ndern. Gerade der Wandel dieser Muster verweist darauf, dass die Tagesschau wie jede Nachrichtensendung eben nicht objektiv berichtet, sondern ber die Muster der Beitrge die Ereignisse deutet. Dabei ist sie immer auch geprgt vom jeweiligen gesellschaftlichen Diskurs und beeinflusst diesen gleichzeitig zu einem gewissen Grade. Die dem Buch beigelegte DVD enthlt alle detailliert analysierten Beitrge der Tagesschau und anderer Sendungen aus den Jahren 1957 bis 1999.
