Diesem Unternehmen lag die Absicht zugrunde, die Angemessenheit und Brauchbarkeit gestalt theoretischen Denkens auf einem Gebiete nachzuweisen, welches von Gestalttheoretikern eher stiefmtitterlich behandelt worden ist. Sinn voll erschien dies auch deshalb, da die Entwicklung im Bereich der "helfenden Berufe" wohl durch beste Absichten, leider jedoch selten durch theoretisch begrtindete Einsichten gekennzeichnet ist. Wenn die Gestalttheorie zu Fragen der Erziehung und des Unterrichts eini ges zu sagen hat, darf man auch erwarten, dai. l. sie bei der Kllirung von Fragen der Nacherziehung, also im weiteren Sinne solchen der Sozialplidagogik und der Sozialarbeit, nicht ohne Wert ist. Diese Er wartung zu erftillen, ist das Ziel dieses Buches. Urn dieses Ziel zu erreichen, erschien es dem Herausgeber ratsam, im Allgemeinen Teil des Buches Fragen zu behandeln, die das Ver hliltnis des einzelnen zu seinen Mitmenschen zum Inhalt haben. Ein geleitet wird der Allgemeine Teil durch den Aufsatz von Walter Piel, der Reichweite und Grenzen der Gestalttheorie erortert. Die Beitrlige des Herausgebers zu Fragen der Integration und der fremddienlichen Tlitigkeit werden durch die feldtheoretischen Betrachtungen Helmut Lucks in glticklicher Weise erglinzt.
