I picked up 'Ghosts of Sicily' hoping for a thrilling historical account, and it did not disappoint! The blend of naval intelligence and mob connections is fascinating. I couldn't put it down; it's a real eye-opener about WWII's hidden stories.

A Bit Slow in Parts
While I found 'Ghosts of Sicily' interesting, there were sections that dragged a bit. Some parts felt overly detailed for my liking, but overall it provided a unique perspective on an aspect of WWII I hadn’t known much about.

Disappointed by the Content Quality
I really wanted to like this book, but it fell flat for me. It seemed to jump around too much and the writing felt choppy. I expected a more engaging narrative given the intriguing premise about mob involvement in naval intelligence.
