The original Latin text has been edited and annotated in the original Latin, and is also presented for the first time in German translation. Arnold's Gedoppelter Lebenslauf, the first part of which was written by Arnold himself, the second part posthumously by friends, is a revealing text for the study of pietist biographies and autobiographies.
