Product Description Gilly is a small fish that lived in Chicken Pond. He learns a lesson about temptation when bright red salmon eggs drop into the pond where he lives. It is against the rules to eat these salmon eggs, but Gilly is so tempted that he eats one and almost looses is life. This large 8.5 x 11 inch book; it is in very large print; and is filled with colorful illustrations by the author, whose experience in cartooning reaches back over fifty years. This is the authors 2nd childrens picture book, and like her first book The Lost Sheep there is a lesson to learn. The lesson of this story is temptation, and it is better to remain true and faithful to what you know is right, than it is to follow through with what tempts you. About the Author C. L. Neely is a Christian author, with 4 grown children and several grandchildren. Gilly's Big Temptation is her second illustrated children's book. "Reading to my children when they were young was always fun for both them and me," Neely said. "I think a good story should have a moralsomething children can understand."
