#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERA haunting, beautiful, and necessary book.Nicola Yoon, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Everything, EverythingCharlotte Davis is in pieces. At seventeen shes already lost more than most people do in a lifetime. But shes learned how to forget. The broken glass washes away the sorrow until there is nothing but calm. You dont have to think about your father and the river. Your best friend, who is gone forever. Or your mother, who has nothing left to give you.Every new scar hardens Charlies heart just a little more, yet it still hurts so much. It hurts enough to not care anymore, which is sometimes what has to happen before you can find your way back from the edge.A deeply moving portrait of a girl in a world that owes her nothing, and has taken so much, and the journey she undergoes to put herself back together. Kathleen Glasgows debut is heartbreakingly real and unflinchingly honest. Its a story you wont be able to look away from. And dont miss Kathleen Glasgows novels Youd Be Home Now and How to Make Friends with the Dark, both raw and powerful stories of life.

The Turtleback School Library Binding is just what I hoped it would be! The pages are really thick, and it’s holding up great after a few weeks of my daughter reading it daily. She’s totally engrossed in the story, which makes me happy!

Arrived Damaged, Disappointed
Unfortunately, the copy I received had a dented cover and some pages were rough around the edges. I had to return it, but the story seems like it could be great based on the reviews. Hope the next one arrives in better shape!

A Unique Edition for Young Readers
I bought the Turtleback School Library Binding Edition of 'Girl in Pieces' for my daughter, and she loves it. The binding feels sturdy, perfect for her to take to school without worrying about pages falling out. It's a touching story that has really resonated with her.

Sturdy but Confusing Story
I appreciated the Turtleback binding of 'Girl in Pieces' because it seems durable. However, my teenager found the story a bit confusing and hard to follow at times. Maybe it's just not her style!

Nice Binding but Pricey
This Turtleback edition is well-made and should last a while, which is great for school use. However, I felt it was a bit overpriced compared to other versions available. My daughter enjoyed the book, though, so we’re happy enough!
