Die dramatischen Erfahrungen gegen Ende des Krieges mit Zerstrung, Flucht, Asyl und den anschlieenden Trmmer und WiederaufbauErlebnissen, prgten seine sozialpolitische und konomische Weltsicht. Nach dem Studium von Elektro und Nachrichtentechnik sowie Sozial und Erziehungswissenschaft, arbeitete er im Bereich der schulischen Berufspdagogik. Heute lebt er als "Ruhestndler" in Bonn und zeitweise auch in seiner Heimatstadt Dillingen an der Saar.
