Jahrhundert. Beide Trends gemeinsam leiteten einen Boom der interkulturellen Zusammenarbeit in multinationalen Teams ein. Kulturbergreifende Teams bilden das Herzstck des Globalisierungsprozesses (vgl. Snow et al., 1996). Viele multikulturelle organisationale Einheiten wie Teams, Projektgruppen, Task Forces, Abteilungen oder Geschftsfhrungen sind heute fester Bestandteil der Arbeitswelt (vgl. Podsiadlowski, 2002). In Anbetracht der zunehmenden Relevanz von interkultureller Teamarbeit ist es dringend notwendig, dass auf wissenschaftlicher Seite weiter diesem Thema nachgegangen wird. Es stellen sich Fragen wie welche Faktoren Einfluss auf kulturell diverse Teams nehmen; welche Anstze, Konzepte und Manahmen in der Literatur diskutiert werden; welche Empfehlungen und Hinweise fr eine praxisorientierte Herangehensweise gegeben werden knnen. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse der Prozesse und Ergebnisse der interkulturellen Zusammenarbeit in multinationalen Teams in Unternehmen. Neben der theoretischen Auseinandersetzung sowie der Auswertung vorhandener Studien auf diesem Gebiet soll die vorliegende Arbeit mit einer eigenen Untersuchung einen Beitrag dazu leisten, weitere Erkenntnisse fr eine erfolgreiche interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit zu eruieren. Untersuchungsgegenstand der Dissertation sind multinationale Teams. Die nationale kulturelle Diversitt ist hierbei singulres Auswahlkriterium fr die zu untersuchenden Arbeitsgruppen in Unternehmen. Als Forschungskonzept wird eine interdisziplinre Herangehensweise aus einer Synthese der Organisations, Gruppen und Kulturforschung gewhlt.
