Product Description Bis heute wird die Taufe im Raum der kumene lebhaft diskutiert. Im allgemeinen erkennen baptistische Kirchen die von den anderen Kirchen praktizierte Suglingstaufe nicht als gltige christliche Taufe an. Aber auch dort, wo die Suglingstaufe grundstzlich anerkannt wird, stellt sich die Frage, ob die Glubigentaufe oder die Suglingstaufe die vorzugswrdigere Form der Taufe ist und welche dieser beiden Formen praktiziert werden sollte. In dieser Untersuchung werden wichtige kumenische Dokumente (mit baptistischer, lutherischer und reformierter Beteiligung) sowie dogmatische Beitrge (K. Barth, O. Weber, E. Schlink, W. Pannenberg, G. R. BeasleyMurray, u.a.) kritisch untersucht und ein Lsungsansatz erarbeitet, der auf dem Weg zu einer gegenseitigen Taufanerkennung zwischen tuferischen Kirchen und Kirchen mit Suglingstaufe weiterfhren will. About the Author Wolfram Kerner studierte Bauingenieurwesen in Lbeck (Dipl.Ing.) und evangelische Theologie in Tbingen, Heidelberg (Dipl.Theol.) und Princeton (Th.M.). Mit dieser Arbeit promovierte er bei Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. Michael Welker an der Theologischen Fakultt der Universitt Heidelberg zum Dr. theol. ("summa cum laude"). Whrend seines Theologiestudiums wechselte Wolfram Kerner von der baptistischen Freikirche in die evangelische Landeskirche und arbeitet seit 2004 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Theologischen Fakultt der Universitt Heidelberg.
