Take care and good reading. About the Author Michael Mefford was born in Columbia, South Carolina in 1969. He was educated at the University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. His psychiatric training included three years at the William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia where he served as Assistant Chief Resident and Chief Resident. He specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. Michael currently lives in Colorado with his family.
