I love JD Robb's books, but 'Golden in Death' felt a bit off to me. The pacing was slower than usual, and I wasn't as engaged with the characters. I hope the next one is better!

This latest Eve Dallas novel is entertaining, but I found some parts a bit predictable. The plot had its moments, but I was hoping for a more surprising twist. Still, die-hard fans will enjoy it!
