Pibourg la dernire traduction franaise datait de 1844 et ne correspondait plus aux exigences scientifiques actuelles est publie sous la direction de Jacques Berlioz (CNRS, Lyon). Prsente par Brian McGuire (Universit de Copenhague), elle est accompagne d''aides la lecture', en forme de fiches techniques (vie dans les monastres cisterciens ; sources du Grand Exorde) et de 'directions de lecture' (confession et pnitence ; 'mrite' ; intercesseurs ; audel) dues J. Berlioz, P.Y. Emery, Cl. Carozzi et M.G. Dubois. Elle est en plus dote d'un glossaire, d'un riche index thmatique et d'un index dtaill des noms de lieu et de personnes.
