A Bit Too Nostalgic
This book has some charming tales, but I found it a bit too sentimental for my taste. While I appreciate the memories shared, I was hoping for a bit more variety in stories. Still, it made for a cozy read around the holidays!

While 'Grandmother Remembers Christmas at the White House' is beautifully written, the pacing was a little slow in parts. I really enjoyed the historical aspects but wished it could have been a bit more engaging throughout. Still, a nice addition to my Christmas collection!

Unfortunately, the copy I received of this book had a few pages bent and the spine looked worn. I was looking forward to gifting it, but I'm not happy with how it arrived. The stories seem lovely, though!
