The book has some amazing stories about the Windrush journey, but I felt like it skimmed over some important details. It’s a good introduction to the topic, but I wanted more depth on individual experiences. Still, I found it worth the read!

Disappointed with the quality of the book
I was really looking forward to this book, but it arrived with a bent cover and some pages were misaligned. The stories are important, but the presentation really let me down. I hope my next purchase is in better condition!

Informative but a bit dry in parts
While I appreciated the historical context provided in this book, some sections felt a little lengthy and could have used more engaging narratives. It’s definitely informative, but I found my attention wavering at times. Still glad to have it in my collection!

A heartfelt read on a pivotal journey
This book really dives deep into the experiences of those who came on the Empire Windrush. It’s both enlightening and emotional, making it a perfect read for anyone interested in history. The stories are beautifully written, and I couldn’t put it down!

A great gift for history buffs
I bought this for my dad who loves history, particularly about migration. He really enjoyed it and said it opened his eyes to the Windrush generation. Just wish the cover art was a bit more eye-catching, but the content is what counts!
