But a horseseller's tales about finding his horses in the Valley of Singing Crystals inspire her to ask more questions and to be determined to find a way to escape from home. The horseseller warns her about the dangerous floods and earthquakes he encounters and that he might not be able to.make it back again..that this might be his last visit. Can a horseseller help a princess find a way to elude Castletown guards? A mysterious mountain, a dreamer's fountain and a talking horse urge the princess to go on. From the Author My fascination with the great pyramids, my growing collection of baskets at home,my sudden intuitions about some of my friends today having been Egyptian in a pastlife time have led me to believe that I may have lived a pastlife weaving baskets along the Nile in Egypt. I could see Mindy as a young acolyte in a white robe standing on the paws of the sphinx, Darla as an Egyptian princess in regal regalia and I just knew a fellow female student in a class for healers learning about, being attuned for Reiki had been a male Egyptian priest. The familiar story about a waterproof basket floating in the Nile river, carrying precious cargo to a safe landing has been an inspiration for me this lifetime and I am weaving word baskets to carry precious cargo stories to my grandchildren, to the younger generation so they may find what's precious in MORE THAN ONCE Upon a Time and find the hidden treasure in Granny's Baskets. About the Author Carol C. McFall has been writing poems and stories for her children and grandchildren for more than 40 years. A published poet, she has won prizes for her poetry. McFall has resided in Alliance, Ohio, for most of her life.
