This volume is the sixth in a series of books which present great literature in comics and heavily illustrated formats, by some of the best artists working today in the fields of comics, book illustration, and fine arts. The book includes war stories, horror, satire, and comedy. Featured are An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, The Devils Dictionary, and Bierces Fables.

As a fan of graphic novels, I loved this sixth volume in the series! The artwork is stunning and really complements Bierce's dark humor. It’s also a nice way to introduce his stories to those who might find traditional prose daunting.

A Great Introduction to Bierce!
I picked up this Graphic Classics volume for a class on American literature and I'm really happy with it! The illustrations are engaging and help bring Ambrose Bierce's stories to life. Definitely a fun way to enjoy his classic works, especially if you're not used to reading older texts.

Mixed Feelings About the Art Style
I enjoyed the stories in this volume, but I wasn’t a huge fan of all the art styles used. Some parts felt disjointed and hard to follow at times. Still, it’s a creative take on Bierce’s work and worth checking out if you enjoy graphic adaptations.

Arrived with a Dented Cover
I was really looking forward to this graphic classic, but unfortunately, it arrived with a dent in the cover. The stories are fantastic, but the presentation was a letdown. Just wished it came in better condition since it’s a gift for my friend who's a Bierce fan.
