Volume two of the Pictorial History of the majestic Great Pyrenees in black and white continues, beginning with Cote de Neige kennels. It follows a loose historical time line and goes around the world. It ends with a special tribute to the late Mary Crane. The Addendum contains a reproduction of the first book ever written exclusively on the Great Pyrenees by Eugne Byasson of ArgelsGazost, France about 1909.

This volume is a fantastic addition to my collection! The pictures are absolutely stunning, and it's clear a lot of love went into the history presented. If you're even slightly into Great Pyrenees, you'll appreciate the detail here.

Perfect Gift for a Friend
I bought this book for my friend who has a Great Pyrenees, and she loved it! The pictorial history is so well done, and she loved flipping through the pages. It's a great coffee table book too!

Came with a Minor Flaw
The book itself is gorgeous, but it arrived with a small dent on the cover. I didn't want to return it because the content is so lovely, but it was a bit disappointing to see it damaged in transit.

Beautiful but Lacked Depth
The book is visually appealing and full of gorgeous photos, but I was hoping for more historical context. It’s nice to look at, but I wanted to learn more about the breed's heritage.

A Love Letter to the Breed
This second volume captures the spirit of Great Pyrenees in such an affectionate way. The images are heartwarming, and I love the stories shared. It's a wonderful tribute to these gentle giants!
