English summary: [Respecting Exceeding Pushing the Limits] The Swiss reformed theologian Christoph Stueckelberger (*1951) belongs to the most influential representatives of an ecumenism that takes the social responsibility of the churches seriously. Starting from the lifestyle movement in the sixties, he has helped to shape the ecumenical movement of the past decades as a journalist, university teacher and through creative institutional impulses. In spite of occasional church stagnation in Europe, the dynamism of his work has remained unbroken through a network with churches, theologians and ethicists in the South. A proof of this is his calling into being and leading of the network globethics.net in Geneva. Christoph Stueckelberger's 60th birthday led companions and colleagues to dedicate the contributions collected in this volume to him.
