About the Author Maria Tebbe wurde 1987 in Lengerich, Westfalen, geboren. Ihr Studium Auenwirtschaft/Internationales Management an der Hochschule fr Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg schloss die Autorin im Jahre 2011 mit dem akademischen Grad des Bachelor of Arts erfolgreich ab. Whrend des Studiums entdeckte die Autorin ihr Faible fr logistische Zusammenhnge und entschied sich daraufhin fr den Studienschwerpunkt Logistik. Im Rahmen der entsprechenden Vorlesungen beschftigte sie sich eingehend mit der Umsetzung globaler NachhaltigkeitsZiele im Transportwesen. Immer wieder stie sie dabei auf die Frage, welcher Verkehrstrger sich fr "grne" Transportketten am besten eignet. Dies motivierte sie, sich der Thematik des vorliegenden Buches zu widmen.
