In the globalized era, India is emerging as a great power in terms of its growth and development through various means and industrialization process is one among them. The present paper discusses various industrialization peocess and its impact over the tribal people. The study has adopted Odisha (one among 28 states of India) as a case study to examine growing nagative impacts of industrialization processes over the tribal people which are responsible to enhance the unlawfull act like naxalism as Government of India and also Odisha have declared. Although, Odisha is full of natural resources, policies and programmes of the government, still could not bring sustainable development for the marginalized and poor communities like tribals, which are propelling them to question the authorities of the state in various forms and movements. In this connection, the study examines the causes behind the failure of state and governments to end naxal movements in Odisha and also to stop growing nagative impacts of the industrialization process over the ribal peple, and also addresses valuable comprehensive ideas or measures to bring sustainable development of the tribal people in Odisha.
